I've been trying to hold out until the opening to buy some audio equipment and music. I'm encouraged overall by your enthusiasm; it's contagious.chryshelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17934843756122233798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113502420102087028.post-76641410719825449932007-10-20T12:54:00.000-07:002007-10-20T12:54:00.000-07:00Don't be embarrassed, that's what it's there for. ...Don't be embarrassed, that's what it's there for. Every dollar you spend there helps the city with sales tax revenue. Also, last year Target donated $70,000 to the Compton Unified School District to develop its Visual and Performing Arts programs. As far as the shoplifting is concerned we knew it would happen, unfortunately. The zero tolerance policy is a great policy towards crime prevention and I'm glad Mayor Perrodin is taking that approach. I would love to see a Barnes & Noble in the place of the old K-Mart building. Don't spend all your money on Target now, we've got the Best Buy opening on the 26th! Hope you can make it.The Compton Conservativehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04389972488223835526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8113502420102087028.post-74358459012959105382007-10-20T10:33:00.000-07:002007-10-20T10:33:00.000-07:00I'm embarrassed to say I've been to the new store ...I'm embarrassed to say I've been to the new store at least five times since 10/11. I didn't know it had opened early...I went to the Home Depot opening and noticed people coming out of Target with shopping bags. I have to agree that more people tried to help me at the Compton store than all other stores I've gone to in past few years combined...I liked that. I'm disappointed that a few have already tried to shoplift, but the zero-tolerance policy is definitely in full effect. It's reassuring to see everyone working very hard to ensure the success of Gateway. I'll definitely do my part. Now, if we can just find another tenant for the old K-Mart (Levitz, Kohl's, Barnes & Noble) that would be great.chryshelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17934843756122233798noreply@blogger.com
